Farewell from My Rad Dad

I'm Out.

On my blog I explained the blogger idol competition to my readers and at the end wrote “Then Fools Get Nixed.”

Well today I am that fool and I have been nixed.  

I never fancied myself a writer before I started this blog a few months back. (I never fancied myself a 14 year old girl from the Wild West before I just used the word fancied either.)

I decided that there were too many hilarious things about being a parent not to share with those who care to read.  As I started writing more on the blog a few of my friends would tell me they loved the blog and thought I was a good writer… well fancy that.

Then I auditioned for this competition and I did it thinking, ‘I probably won’t make it but what do I have to lose?’ And low and behold I made it.  That was pretty awesome. 

The competition really stretched my writing and made me write outside my comfort zone, which was great.  Finishing 11^th out of how ever many people tried out doesn’t feel too bad.  Thanks to Heather and the crew behind the scenes.  Keep up the good work.

Lastly I’d like to express my disdain for Mavis Beacon, stupid double space after a period.  Here’s something for FTB.   That’s a triple space.
